Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Adhere to specifications and requirement drawn up by software developers or other individuals. Analyze user needs and design software solutions. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs and applications, and correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Update, repair and modify code and routines of existing software programs. Create and execute user testing plans and scripts. Generate specifications, workflow charts and data flow diagrams to show organizational processes and structure. Provide end-user support. Develop guides/manuals and other end-user materials. Temporary travel to client sites throughout the US required.

Collect requirement specifications and analyze business process, and map process flow to determine the exact nature of users system requirements. Create processing steps and design new systems in accordance with users requirements. Interact with IT professionals, such as software engineers and programmers to develop data migration tools and attend to ad-hoc issues related to day-to-day activities. Work closely with IT professionals throughout the implementation and testing phases, to set up test environments and test data for a timely and exhaustive project testing. Assist programmers to debug or eliminate errors from the system. Prepare specifications, flow charts, and process diagrams for programmers to follow. Develop and maintain systems documentation such as design specifications, user manuals, technical manuals, description of application operations, and methodology documentations. Participate in technical collaboration meetings and provide project management team with periodical reviews on implementation status as well as weekly reports on task plan for custom software implementations.
